How to log in as admin on a Project Zomboid server
In the RoxyCloud panel you set the admin username and password. In the game you join with that same account.

On a RoxyCloud Project Zomboid server the admin account is created in the panel, not on your PC. You pick a name and a password, start the server and join with those details.
Set user and password in the panel
- Open the RoxyCloud panel and the Project Zomboid server.
- Stop the server with Power.
- Go to Settings, then General.
- Fill in the admin username and the admin password.
- Save.
- Start the server with Power and wait for the console to finish booting.
Join the game as admin
- Open Project Zomboid on the same build as the server (41 or 42).
- In the menu, click Join.
- Paste the IP and port from the panel.
- In the username field, type the name you saved in General. Example: lucia.pz
- In the password field, type the admin password. If the room also has a password, the game asks for that separately.
- Connect.
If the game refuses, check that the server is running, that the name matches (case counts) and that you did not mix the admin password with the room password.
After you are in
With this account you use admin commands in chat and in the panel console. To give or take admin from someone else, see the guide on adding and removing admins.
