Palworld on Xbox: turn on support and join the host
Turn on crossplay or Xbox support in settings or Startup in the panel, set AdminPassword, and join by IP on console. Steam ID and console ID are different for bans.

Your Palworld host on RoxyCloud can take PC (Steam) and Xbox players, but crossplay must be enabled on the server. This guide shows where to turn that on in the panel or ini, how to join by IP on Xbox, and what changes for admin or bans.
Enable Xbox support / crossplay
The most reliable path is PalWorldSettings.ini. Some panels also expose the option in the Startup tab. Check both.
- Stop the server in the Power tab.
- Open Files and go to the server Config folder (LinuxServer or WindowsServer, depending on the host).
- Edit PalWorldSettings.ini.
- Inside OptionSettings=(...), confirm crossplay keys for your game version (bCrossplay or the equivalent documented in the current patch).
- Set AdminPassword= with a strong password. Example: orvalho-2026 (swap for yours).
- Save the file.
- If the panel has a Startup tab with an Xbox or Crossplay toggle, align it with the ini and save.
- Start the server again in Power.
OptionSettings=(ServerName="nina.pal",AdminPassword=orvalho-2026,bCrossplay=True)Join from Xbox
- Update Palworld on Xbox to the same version as your PC friends.
- In the menu, pick dedicated multiplayer or join by IP (the label varies by version).
- Type IP:port from the RoxyCloud panel.
- If the server has ServerPassword, enter the world password, not the panel password.
- Create or pick a character and join.
AdminPassword and Console
AdminPassword in the ini unlocks in-game admin commands for whoever knows the password. In the panel, the Console tab shows server logs and IDs of who connected. Use that for kick, ban, or lag checks.
- AdminPassword lives in PalWorldSettings.ini, key AdminPassword=.
- The RoxyCloud panel password only opens the site. Do not reuse it in the game.
- In-game commands depend on version. Test on a friends server before using in production.
Steam ID vs console ID (ban and moderation)
Steam players show a Steam ID in the log. Xbox players use a Microsoft platform identifier. Banning the wrong ID does not work or hits someone else.
- With the player online, open Console in the panel.
- Copy the exact ID from the connection line.
- Use that ID in the ban list or kick command for your version.
- PC and Xbox in the same world need crossplay on and matching mods (if you use .pak).
Plan for a mixed PC + Xbox room
Crossplay does not need a special plan, but latency and slots matter. Cattiva (R$ 119.90) works for a small group. Grizzbolt or Kitsun make sense if the base grows or many players switch between PC and console. All on Ryzen 7 5700X in Brazil.
